champignon producer

Tatarstan’s largest champignon producer IGS Agro has updated its production record. In April 2024, the harvest of mushrooms exceeded 400 tons per month for the first time in the company’s history. In May this year, the company reached a new absolute record, producing 457 tons of champignons.

As Azat Shaidullin, General Director of IGS Agro, explained to sfera.fm editorial office, such results were achieved thanks to optimized technological processes and investments in increasing production areas. In the future, the company may double its mushroom production, the expert noted.

«Expanding our growing area by 5% has added 25 tons monthly to our volume. But at the heart of the record figures is the work of our highly skilled mushroom cultivation and compost production staff, who are among the best in the industry. Their professionalism and dedication allow IGS Agro to hold leading positions and provide the highest quality products to regions from Nizhny Novgorod to Novosibirsk», — said Azat Shaidullin.

IGS Agro carries out a full cycle of production — from laying its own compost to growing mushrooms, the company said.
