The leaders in the production of ground vegetables in our country are the Astrakhan, Volgograd and Moscow regions, Krasnodar Krai, as well as the Kabardino-Balkar Republic.

In addition, Russian agrarians have harvested about 1.2 million tons of greenhouse products, which corresponds to last year’s figure. Of these, the harvest of tomatoes is 498.7 thousand tons, and cucumbers — 641.9 thousand tons.

The Lipetsk, Moscow, Kaluga and Volgograd Regions, as well as the Krasnodar and Stavropol Territories are traditionally the leading regions for the production of indoor vegetables in Russia.
